Hu Li and <strong>Zhen Fang<\/strong> published research article in <strong>Green Chem<\/strong> about photoelectrocatalytic oxidation of bio-alcohol in water coupled with hydrogen evolution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Photoelectrochemical system is a promising way for biomass valorization but still in its infancy. Herein, a Mo-BVO-TiCoNO-CoFeO<em><sub>xy<\/sub><\/em> photoanode with a nanowire structure was prepared for efficiently converting bio-based benzyl alcohol (BA) to benzoic acid (97.7% yield) for the first time, while coupling H<sub>2<\/sub> production of 136.8 \u00a0\u03bcmol cm<sup>-2<\/sup>. The nanowire structure enables a significant increase in the exposed active sites on the photoelectrode surface to enhance the BA oxidation capacity, whereas its large aspect ratio increases the visible light absorption and thermal effect (resulting from size effect) increases H<sub>2<\/sub> production at the counter electrode. DFT calculations and further experiments revealed that Co species of the CoFeO<em><sub>xy<\/sub><\/em> layer functioned as stabilizers of photoelectrode property while Fe species acted as catalytic site providers in the BA oxidation.<\/p>\n<p>Publication:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pei-dong Wu, Lanyun Li, Keping Wang, Hu Li*, <strong>Zhen Fang<\/strong>*. The loading of a &#8220;two birds with one stone&#8221; CoFeO<em><sub>xy<\/sub><\/em> layer on BVO substrate enabled rapid separation of photoexctied carriers while achieving a 97.7% yield of benzyl alcohol (BA) to benzoic acid (BEN). \u4f7f\u7528\u5149\u7535\u5316\u5b66\uff08PEC\uff09\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\u5c06\u751f\u7269\u8d28\u884d\u751f\u9187\u9ad8\u503c\u5316\u5229\u7528\u8026\u5408\u4ea7\u6c22\uff0c\u5bf9\u4e8e\u201c\u53cc\u78b3\u201d\u76ee\u6807\u7684\u5b9e\u73b0\u5177\u6709\u6781\u5927\u7684\u4fc3\u8fdb\u610f\u4e49\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u5728\u9492\u9178\u94cb\u57fa\u5e95\u4e0a\u8d1f\u8f7d\u5177\u6709\u201c\u4e00\u77f3\u4e8c\u9e1f\u201d\u4f5c\u7528\u7684CoFeO<sub>xy<\/sub>\u5916\u5c42\u5b9e\u73b0\u5149\u81f4\u8f7d\u6d41\u5b50\u7684\u5feb\u901f\u5206\u79bb\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u5b9e\u73b0\u5bf9\u82ef\u7532\u9187\uff08BA\uff09\u5230\u82ef\u7532\u9178\uff08BEN\uff0997.7%\u7684\u4ea7\u7387\u3002<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>\u535a\u58eb\u751f\u5434\u57f9\u680b\u5728\u674e\u864e\u6559\u6388\u548c\u65b9\u771f\u6559\u6388\u7684\u6307\u5bfc\u4e0b\uff0c\u5728\u56fd\u9645\u5b66\u672f\u671f\u520a<\/strong><strong>Green Chemistry<\/strong><strong>\u53d1\u8868\u7814\u7a76\u6027\u8bba\u6587<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u975e\u91cf\u5b50\u7eb3\u7c73\u7ed3\u6784\u4ea7\u751f\u70ed\u8f7d\u6d41\u5b50\u589e\u5f3a\u5149\u7535\u6c27\u5316\u751f\u7269\u8d28\u9187\u540c\u65f6\u8026\u5408\u4ea7\u6c22\u7684\u80fd\u529b<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u6700\u8fd1\uff0c\u535a\u58eb\u751f\u5434\u57f9\u680b\u5728\u674e\u864e\u6559\u6388\u548c\u65b9\u771f\u6559\u6388\u7684\u6307\u5bfc\u4e0b\uff0c\u5728\u56fd\u9645\u5b66\u672f\u671f\u520aGreen Chemistry (Q1; Impact factor: 11)\u4e0a\u53d1\u8868\u4e86\u4e00\u7bc7\u5173\u4e8e\u5149\u7535\u5316\u5b66\u6c27\u5316\u751f\u7269\u8d28\u9187\u5230\u82ef\u7532\u9178\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u6027\u8bba\u6587\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">PEC\u6c27\u5316\u7cfb\u7edf\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u5f88\u6709\u524d\u9014\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\u53ef\u4ee5\u5c06\u751f\u7269\u8d28\u9ad8\u503c\u5316\u5229\u7528\uff0c\u4f46\u4ecd\u5904\u4e8e\u8d77\u6b65\u9636\u6bb5\u3002\u5728\u6b64\u57fa\u7840\u4e0a\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u5236\u5907\u4e86\u5177\u6709\u7eb3\u7c73\u7ebf\u7ed3\u6784\u7684Mo-BVO-TiCoNO-CoFeO<sub>xy<\/sub>\u5149\u9633\u6781\uff0c\u9996\u6b21\u5c06\u751f\u7269\u8d28\u884d\u751f\u9187-\u82ef\u7532\u9187(BA)\u9ad8\u6548\u8f6c\u5316\u4e3a\u82ef\u7532\u9178(\u6536\u738797.7%)\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u5076\u8054H<sub>2<\/sub>\u4ea7\u91cf\u4e3a136.8 \u00a0\u03bcmol cm<sup>-2<\/sup>\u3002\u7eb3\u7c73\u7ebf\u7ed3\u6784\u4f7f\u66b4\u9732\u5728\u5149\u7535\u6781\u8868\u9762\u7684\u6d3b\u6027\u7269\u663e\u8457\u589e\u52a0\uff0c\u4ece\u800c\u589e\u5f3aBA\u6c27\u5316\u80fd\u529b\uff0c\u800c\u5176\u8f83\u5927\u7684\u7eb5\u6a2a\u6bd4\u589e\u52a0\u4e86\u5176\u53ef\u89c1\u5149\u5438\u6536\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u4ea7\u751f\u7684\u70ed\u6548\u5e94(\u7531\u5c3a\u5bf8\u6548\u5e94\u5f15\u8d77)\u589e\u52a0\u4e86\u5bf9\u7535\u6781H<sub>2<\/sub>\u7684\u4ea7\u91cf\u3002DFT\u8ba1\u7b97\u548c\u5bf9\u7167\u5b9e\u9a8c\u8868\u660e\uff0cCoFeO<sub>xy<\/sub>\u5c42\u4e2d\u7684Co\u7269\u79cd\u662f\u5149\u7535\u6781\u6027\u80fd\u7684\u7a33\u5b9a\u5242\uff0cFe\u7269\u79cd\u5728BA\u6c27\u5316\u7684\u8fc7\u7a0b\u4e2d\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u50ac\u5316\u4f4d\u70b9\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u8be6\u60c5\u53ef\u89c1\uff1a<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pei-dong Wu, Lanyun Li, Keping Wang, Hu Li*, <strong>Zhen Fang<\/strong>*.
