Lujiang Xu and Xiao Kong, successfully defended their theses in A101 Huixian Building, Pukou Campus of Nanjing Agricultural University. The defending committee was composed of Profs. Yongfu Zhao (chair) and Hongying Huang from Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Prof. Xiaohua Wang and Associate Professor Kunquan Li from Nanjing Agricultural University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All the members of the panel listened to the presentations, raised corresponding questions and reviewed the relevant information after hearing the thesis presentations by Mr. Wei and Miss Zhang. After reviewing and defending, the panel agreed that Mr. Wei and Miss Zhang had successfully completed their research and course requirements on agricultural bio-environment and energy engineering. Mr. Wei studied the catalytic condensation of furfural and acetone alcohol to furanic biofuels to optimize technological conditions with La-based trimetallic catalysts with his thesis entitled &#8220;Lanthanide complex metal catalysts for furanic biofuels preparation&#8221;. Miss Zhang studied the green recycling of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with her thesis entitled &#8220;Study on the preparation of hydrocarbons by catalytic pyrolysis dechlorination of polyvinyl chloride&#8221;. She modified PVC plastic with catalyst of calcium hydroxide to catalyze the conversion of PVC to hydrocarbons by fast pyrolysis technology. Both students worked hard and published 2 academic papers. After the jury voted by secret ballot with Grade B, the panel agreed to confer Master of Engineering Degree to Mr. Xiao-jie Wei and Miss Le-yao Zhang subjected to the approval by the Academic Degrees Committees of the college and university.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Both students got a decent job in manufacturing industry as an engineer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u7b54\u8fa9\u4f1a\u4e0a\uff0c\u7b54\u8fa9\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u4e3b\u5e2d\u53ca\u5404\u4f4d\u8bc4\u59d4\u5728\u542c\u53d6\u4e86\u9b4f\u5b5d\u6377\u4e0e\u5f20\u4e50\u7476\u540c\u5b66\u5728\u8bfb\u671f\u95f4\u7684\u7b54\u8fa9\u62a5\u544a\u540e\uff0c\u8fdb\u884c\u4e86\u5145\u5206\u7684\u95ee\u7b54\u548c\u5ba1\u9605\u76f8\u5173\u8d44\u6599\u3002\u7ecf\u8fc7\u8bc4\u5ba1\u51b3\u8bae\u540e\uff0c\u4e13\u5bb6\u7ec4\u4e00\u81f4\u8ba4\u4e3a\u9b4f\u5b5d\u6377\u4e0e\u5f20\u4e50\u7476\u540c\u5b66\u987a\u5229\u5b8c\u6210\u4e86\u519c\u4e1a\u751f\u7269\u73af\u5883\u4e0e\u80fd\u6e90\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u548c\u5b66\u4e60\u8981\u6c42\u3002\u9b4f\u5b5d\u6377\u540c\u5b66\u5728\u6bd5\u4e1a\u8bba\u6587\u300a\u9567\u7cfb\u590d\u5408\u91d1\u5c5e\u50ac\u5316\u5242\u50ac\u5316\u5236\u5907\u544b\u5583\u7c7b\u751f\u7269\u71c3\u6599\u300b\u4e2d\u7814\u7a76\u4e86La\u7cfb\u4e09\u91d1\u5c5e\u50ac\u5316\u5242\u5bf9\u4e8e\u50ac\u5316\u7ce0\u919b\u4e19\u916e\u9187\u7f29\u5408\u5236\u5907\u544b\u5583\u7c7b\u751f\u7269\u71c3\u6599\uff0c\u5e76\u9488\u5bf9\u9ad8\u6548\u7684\u590d\u5408\u91d1\u5c5e\u6c27\u5316\u7269\u7684\u6700\u4f18\u5de5\u827a\u6761\u4ef6\u8fdb\u884c\u4e86\u7814\u7a76\uff1b\u5f20\u4e50\u7476\u540c\u5b66\u5728\u6bd5\u4e1a\u8bba\u6587\u300a\u805a\u6c2f\u4e59\u70ef\u50ac\u5316\u70ed\u89e3\u8131\u6c2f\u5236\u5907\u78b3\u6c22\u5316\u5408\u7269\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u300b\u4e2d\u5bf9\u805a\u6c2f\u4e59\u70ef(PVC)\u5851\u6599\u7eff\u8272\u56de\u6536\u8fdb\u884c\u7814\u7a76\uff0c\u9488\u5bf9\u6c22\u6c27\u5316\u9499\u5bf9PVC\u8fdb\u884c\u6539\u6027\uff0c\u5229\u7528\u50ac\u5316\u70ed\u89e3\u6280\u672f\u5c06\u805a\u6c2f\u4e59\u70ef\u50ac\u5316\u4e3a\u78b3\u6c22\u5316\u5408\u7269\uff0c\u62a5\u544a\u6570\u636e\u53ef\u9760\u3002\u4e24\u4f4d\u540c\u5b66\u5728\u6821\u671f\u95f4\u5de5\u4f5c\u52aa\u529b\uff0c\u5171\u53d1\u8868\u5b66\u672f\u8bba\u65872\u7bc7\u3002\u7ecf\u8bc4\u59d4\u4f1a\u65e0\u8bb0\u540d\u6295\u7968\u8868\u51b3\uff0c\u8bc4\u5b9a\u7b49\u7ea7\u4e3a\u826f\u597d\uff0c\u4e00\u81f4\u540c\u610f\u901a\u8fc7\u6bd5\u4e1a\u7b54\u8fa9\u3002<\/p>\n<p
