It catalyzed the esterification of oleic acid, with biodiesel yield &gt; 99% at 40-90 <sup>o<\/sup>C (activation energy of 24.7 KJ\/mol). (\u5728\u4f4e\u6e29\u4e0b\u901a\u8fc7\u4e24\u6b65\u6cd5\u5408\u6210\u7684\u78b3\u57fa\u56fa\u4f53\u9178Zr-SO<sub>3<\/sub>H@CMC\u8868\u9762\u9178\u5ea6\u4e3a8.45 mmol\/g\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u572840-90 <sup>o<\/sup>C\u50ac\u5316\u6cb9\u9178\u916f\u5316\u83b7\u5f97&gt; 99%\u7684\u751f\u7269\u67f4\u6cb9\u4ea7\u7387\uff1b\u572890 <sup>o<\/sup>C\uff0c\u50ac\u5316\u5242\u5faa\u73af10\u6b21\uff0c\u751f\u7269\u67f4\u6cb9\u7684\u4ea7\u7387\u4ecd&gt; 87%\u3002)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Recently, Miss <strong>Yi-Tong Wang<\/strong> (PhD student from Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences) supervised by Prof. Zhen FANG synthesized carbonaceous catalyst by a two-step method at low temperatures. It had high total acid content (8.45 mmol\/g) for oleic acid esterification with high biodiesel yields (&gt; 99%) at 40-90 oC. Under conditions of 90 oC, 20\/1 methanol\/oleic acid molar ratio, 5 wt% catalyst and 2 h reaction time, biodiesel yield of &gt; 87% was achieved after 10 cycles of use. At lower temperatures (40, 50 and 60 oC), biodiesel yield still reached 82 %, 93 % and 90 % after 3 cycles, respectively. The high activity of Zr-SO3H@CMC benefited from low activation energy of 24.7 KJ\/mol.
