{"id":2732,"date":"2016-01-17T18:31:24","date_gmt":"2016-01-17T10:31:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brg.groups.xtbg.ac.cn\/?p=2732"},"modified":"2016-01-17T18:31:24","modified_gmt":"2016-01-17T10:31:24","slug":"fast-dissolution-of-cellulose-for-hydrolysis-was-authorized-us-patent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/woodrefinery.com\/zhenfang\/fast-dissolution-of-cellulose-for-hydrolysis-was-authorized-us-patent\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cFast dissolution of cellulose for hydrolysis\u201d was authorized US patent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u201cFast dissolution of cellulose for hydrolysis\u201d was authorized US patent<\/strong><br \/>\nRecently, \u201cfast dissolution of cellulose for hydrolysis\u201d invented by <strong>Prof. Zhen Fang<\/strong> was authorized US patent (<strong>US patent#: 9115215<\/strong>; issue date: 08\/25\/2015).<\/p>\n<p>In the nature, lignocellulosic biomass, such as wood and grass, is roughly consisted of 50% cellulose, 25% hemicellulose, and 20% lignin. Cellulose can be hydrolyzed into saccharides which are further used for producing cellulosic ethanol through fermentation. Because lignocellulosic biomass is water-insoluble, the current industrial methods for hydrolyzing biomass proceed mainly in a semi-continuous percolating reactor containing 0.4\uff5e0.8% dilute aqueous sulphuric acid, at temperature of 180\uff5e190\u2103 and under pressure of 12\uff5e14 atmospheres. Reports about continuous production of sugars in a high-pressure continuous flow reactor were not found.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prof. Fang<\/strong> invented a method for completely dissolving and rapidly hydrolyzing cellulose, and uses thereof.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cellulose is placed in an acidic aqueous solution with a [H<sup>+<\/sup>] concentration of 10<sup>-7<\/sup>\uff5e1 <em>M<\/em> or an alkaline aqueous solution with a [OH<sup>&#8211;<\/sup>] concentration of 10<sup>-7<\/sup>\uff5e1 <em>M <\/em>as sample A, wherein the volume ratio of solid to liquid is (0.003\uff5e05).<\/li>\n<li>The acidic aqueous solution with a [H<sup>+<\/sup>] concentration of 10<sup>-7<\/sup>\uff5e1<em>M<\/em> or the alkaline aqueous solution with a [OH<sup>&#8211;<\/sup>] concentration of 10<sup>-7<\/sup>\uff5e1<em>M<\/em> is heated up to 261\uff5e352\u2103 as sample B.<\/li>\n<li>Sampe A and sample B obtained from step 1 and step 2 are mixed in a reactor to a concentration of cellulose of 0.1%\uff5e35%, the concentration of the mixed solution is adjusted to an acidity of 10<sup>-7<\/sup>\uff5e1<em>M<\/em> [H<sup>+<\/sup>] or an alkalinity of 10<sup>-7<\/sup>\uff5e1<em>M<\/em> [OH<sup>&#8211;<\/sup>], and a water density of 587\uff5e997 kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>, pressure is set at 6\uff5e584 MPa. The mixture is rapidly heated up to 261\uff5e352\u2103 at heating rate of 7.8\uff5e8\u2103\/s, and then cellulose is dissolved completely in 0.8\uff5e2 sec and hydrolyzed in 5 sec.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Using this technique, it is the first time for achieving complete dissolution and rapid hydrolysis of cellulose at a lower temperature, which not only dramatically reduces the cost of hydrolysis but also improves the safety of production and extends the service life of equipment in a flow system, thus possessing a good application prospect.<br \/>\n<strong>\u4e00\u79cd\u5b8c\u5168\u6eb6\u89e3\u548c\u5feb\u901f\u6c34\u89e3\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\u53ca\u5176\u5e94\u7528\u83b7\u7f8e\u56fd\u4e13\u5229<\/strong><br \/>\n\u81ea\u7136\u754c\u4e2d\u7684\u6728\u8d28\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\u751f\u7269\u8d28\u5982\u6728\u6750\u548c\u8349\u7c7b\uff0c\u5927\u7ea6\u662f\u753150%\u7684\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\uff0c25%\u7684\u534a\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\u548c20%\u7684\u6728\u8d28\u7d20\u7ec4\u6210\u3002\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\u7ecf\u6c34\u89e3\u80fd\u591f\u964d\u89e3\u4e3a\u7cd6\u7c7b\uff0c\u8fdb\u800c\u7528\u4e8e\u53d1\u9175\u751f\u4ea7\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\u9152\u7cbe\u3002\u7531\u4e8e\u6728\u8d28\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\u751f\u7269\u8d28\u4e0d\u6eb6\u4e8e\u6c34\uff0c\u73b0\u6709\u7684\u5de5\u4e1a\u5316\u751f\u7269\u8d28\u6c34\u89e3\u65b9\u6cd5\u4e3b\u8981\u662f\u4ee5\u534a\u8fde\u7eed\u5f0f\u6e17\u900f\u53cd\u5e94\u5668\u3001\u5728180\uff5e190\u2103\u548c12\uff5e14 \u5927\u6c14\u538b\u4e0b\u76840.4\uff5e0.8%\u7a00\u786b\u9178\u6c34\u6eb6\u6db2\u4e2d\u6c34\u89e3\u3002\u672a\u89c1\u4f7f\u7528\u9ad8\u538b\u8fde\u7eed\u53cd\u5e94\u5668\u8fdb\u884c\u8fde\u7eed\u751f\u4ea7\u7684\u62a5\u9053\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u65b9\u771f\u7814\u7a76\u5458\u5728\u6df1\u5165\u7814\u7a76\u540e\u53d1\u73b0\uff0c\u5728\u6eb6\u89e3\u548c\u5feb\u901f\u6c34\u89e3\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\u4e4b\u524d\uff0c\u5148\u5c06\u5176\u7f6e\u4e8e\u9178\u6027\u6216\u78b1\u6027\u6eb6\u6db2\u4e2d\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u518d\u5c06\u5f97\u5230\u7684\u6df7\u5408\u7269\u4e0e\u9ad8\u6e29\u7a00\u9178\u6216\u7a00\u78b1\u6eb6\u6db2\u6df7\u5408\uff0c\u5e76\u4ee5\u4e00\u5b9a\u7684\u52a0\u70ed\u901f\u7387\u52a0\u70ed\u81f3\u4e00\u5b9a\u7684\u6e29\u5ea6\uff0c\u5219\u53ef\u4ee5\u5b9e\u73b0\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\u7684\u5b8c\u5168\u6eb6\u89e3\u548c\u5feb\u901f\u6c34\u89e3\u3002\u5728\u6b64\u57fa\u7840\u4e0a\uff0c\u53d1\u660e\u4eba\u63d0\u51fa\u5982\u4e0b\u6280\u672f\u65b9\u6848\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>\u4e00\u79cd\u5b8c\u5168\u6eb6\u89e3\u548c\u5feb\u901f\u6c34\u89e3\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\u7684\u65b9\u6cd5\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u4ee5\u4e0b\u6b65\u9aa4\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>1\u3001\u5c06\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\u7f6e\u4e8e\u6d53\u5ea6\u4e3a10<sup>-7<\/sup>\uff5e1<em>M<\/em> [H<sup>+<\/sup>]\u9178\u6027\u621610<sup>-7<\/sup>\uff5e1<em>M<\/em> [OH<sup>&#8211;<\/sup>]\u78b1\u6027\u6c34\u6eb6\u6db2\u4e2d\uff0c\u56fa\u6db2\u4f53\u79ef\u6bd4\u4e3a(0.003\uff5e1.05)\uff1a1\uff1b<\/p>\n<p>2\u3001\u5c0610<sup>-7<\/sup>\uff5e1<em>M<\/em>[H<sup>+<\/sup>]\u9178\u6027\u621610<sup>-7<\/sup>\uff5e1<em>M<\/em> [OH<sup>&#8211;<\/sup>]\u78b1\u6027\u6c34\u6eb6\u6db2\u52a0\u70ed\u81f3261\uff5e352\u2103\uff1b<\/p>\n<p>3\u3001\u6df7\u5408\u6b65\u9aa41\u548c2\u6240\u5f97\u7269\u7f6e\u4e8e\u53cd\u5e94\u5668\u4e2d\uff0c\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\u6d53\u5ea6\u4e3a0.1%\uff5e35%\uff0c\u8c03\u8282\u6df7\u5408\u540e\u7684\u7269\u6599\u6eb6\u6db2\u6d53\u5ea6\u4e3a10<sup>-7<\/sup>\uff5e1<em>M<\/em> [H<sup>+<\/sup>]\u9178\u6027\u621610<sup>-7<\/sup>\uff5e1<em>M<\/em> [OH<sup>&#8211;<\/sup>]\u78b1\u6027\uff0c\u6c34\u5bc6\u5ea6\u4e3a587\uff5e997 kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>\uff0c\u8bbe\u5b9a\u538b\u529b\u4e3a6\uff5e584 MPa\uff0c\u52a0\u70ed\u901f\u7387\u4e3a7.8\uff5e14.8\u2103\/s\uff0c\u5feb\u901f\u52a0\u70ed\u81f3261\uff5e352\u2103\uff0c0.8\uff5e2\u79d2\u5373\u80fd\u5b8c\u5168\u6eb6\u89e3\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u6eb6\u5242\u5316\u7684\u7ea4\u7ef4\u7d20\u53ef\u4ee5\u5f88\u65b9\u4fbf\u5730\u5e94\u7528\u4e8e\u4f4e\u6e29\u7684\u9ad8\u538b\u6d41\u52a8\u5f0f\u7684\u53cd\u5e94\u5668\uff0c\u8fdb\u4e00\u6b65\u964d\u4f4e\u4e86\u751f\u4ea7\u6210\u672c\uff0c\u8fde\u7eed\u6c34\u89e3\u751f\u4ea7\u7cd6\u7c7b\u53ca\u522b\u7684\u751f\u7269\u71c3\u6599\u548c\u4ea7\u54c1\u3002<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u8be5\u53d1\u660e\u83b7\u7f8e\u56fd\u4e13\u5229(US patent#: 9115215;
